Autumn is a lovely time to discover the beautiful countryside of Kent - The Garden of England. This ever popular tour explores England’s oldest county’s history and landscape and we are delighted to be returning to the Hilton Hotel - Maidstone.
On this short break we have packed in many of the areas finest destinations including a day for you to explore world famous Canterbury, Winston Churchill’s Chartwell House and follow in the footsteps of The Tudors at Hever Castle and the impressive Penshurst Place. This is a holiday for those who have a healthy interest in our great history and enjoy the benefits of a quality hotel.

DAY 1
Collected from your home around 8.00am we have a comfort stop before arriving at the amazing Chartwell House. This fascinating property was the family home of Winston Churchill and remains much as it was when the family lived here. Entrance included. Arriving at the hotel late afternoon.
DAY 2
A fascinating day out today as we return to Tudor Britain with visits to Penshurst Place and Hever Castle. Entrance fees included. After breakfast we head to Penshurst for a guided visit of one of England’s finest houses followed by free time to explore the amazing gardens and have lunch. After lunch we head to Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn with a colourful history, splendid panelled rooms containing fine furniture and spectacular award-winning gardens including a 38 acre lake. Returning to the hotel late afternoon.
DAY 3
After breakfast we head for Canterbury. This historic destination is dominated by the magnificent Cathedral, the oldest in England, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which has played such an important part in our history. But there is much more to Canterbury, with other ancient ruins such as the Castle and a lovely cobbled centre to explore on foot. Free time for the day - returning to the hotel late afternoon.

We head home, stopping for an extended lunch stop in Horsham before arriving back in the local area around 3.30/4.00pm - returned to your home via our home collection service.
