The site of Greys Court in the Chilterns has an amazing history. Although there has been a manor on the estate since the 11th century, the current house was built in the 16th century after it had fallen in to disrepair. This beautiful and intimate Tudor Manor House has been home to many aristocracy, politicians and was also the home of Ian Fleming’s mother. Outside there are lawns and a series of delightful walled gardens. For those who wish to explore further there is a 2 mile stile-free walk which also joins up with the Chiltern Way. Enjoy a spot of lunch or tea & cake in the tea room. This is a highly acclaimed National Trust property.
