DAY 1
After departing your local pick-up point approximately 8.00/9.15am, sit back and relax in comfort as we head for our hotel near Cambridge. There will be a comfort stop on route before we arrive in the centre of Reading for a lunchtime stop at the excellent Oracle Shopping Centre. Plenty of time for you to enjoy a spot of shopping and enjoy a leisurely lunchtime with plenty of places to choose from. The coach will return to collect around 1.30pm and we continue to the hotel which is around 2 hours drive from here. Arriving at the hotel which is located in the new town of Cambourne to the west of Cambridge. Time to relax, settle in to your room, maybe take a swim or relax in the bar before dinner. Dinner served in the restaurant - 3 courses with choice - chosen before arrival. Subject to final numbers our evening meal will either be served in the main restaurant or our own separate function room.
DAY 2
Enjoy a delicious, extensive choice of hot and cold items for breakfast before we depart on todays adventure! With only a 20 minute drive in to the city, discover magnificent college buildings, wander historic streets and enjoy picturesque views along the River Cam. Cambridge’s compact, largely flat city centre makes exploring on foot easy, with many sights, shops and cafés close together. Take things at your own pace, enjoy a gentle stroll and stop whenever something catches your eye. It’s a lovely way to discover the city’s character without travelling far between attractions. Wrap up warm and explore this charming university city, where centuries of history meet independent shops and welcoming cafés. Pause for a delicious lunch or warm up with coffee and cake as you soak up the atmosphere. Whether you love architecture, shopping or simply discovering somewhere new, Cambridge offers a delightful winter day out. Plenty of time here to explore the city - arriving back at the hotel around 4.00pm with time to relax. Dinner served in the restaurant/function room - 3 courses with choice.
DAY 3
Enjoy a full hot and cold breakfast buffet at the hotel before boarding the coach around 9.30am. Sit back, relax and enjoy the passing Winter scenery before we arrive in the centre of Oxford. Famous for its dreaming spires and magnificent university buildings, this historic city offers a wonderful blend of culture, shopping and discovery. Oxford is quite compact so it is easy to explore on foot, with many major sights within a short walk of one another. Admire the iconic Radcliffe Camera, see the beautiful Bridge of Sighs and soak up the atmosphere around the famous Bodleian Library. Step inside the Ashmolean Museum to discover fascinating art and archaeology, or browse the Covered Market for independent shops and tempting treats. Along the way, welcoming cafés provide the perfect excuse to warm up with coffee and cake. Oxford is a delightful destination to explore at any time of the year. Leaving here around 3.30pm and heading home with a comfort stop on the way. Returning to the local area around 5.30/6.30pm.

Please note - depending on our final group size, evening meals may be served in our own private function room. Breakfast will be served in the restaurant.
