The amazing spectacle of Keukenhof Gardens is situated in a huge 32 hectare park of trees, ponds and fountains and is often described as ‘the greatest flower display on Earth’. In the spring, millions of tulips, hyancinths and daffodils burst in to bloom covering large areas of the gardens and attracting visitors from all over the world. 

This holiday includes entrance to Keukenhof Gardens plus a full day at leisure. The Hague, known as Den Haag in Dutch, is a city of grand architecture, international importance, and coastal charm. As the seat of the Dutch government and home to the International Court of Justice, The Hague offers visitors a unique blend of history, culture, and modern sophistication. From world-renowned museums and royal palaces to relaxing seaside escapes. Or, you could easily join the train and head for Amsterdam - the best way to trabel in to the city - one of the top tourist destinations in Europe.

Our excellent value breaks to the Dutch Bulbfields have always been popular offering a good quality hotel located within easy driving distance of Keukenhof allowing for plenty of time to explore the gardens. Beware cheaper alternatives, staying in low quality hotels and hours from the gardens. Book early !!

DAY 1

After being collected from your local pick up point around 6.00/7.15am we will have a comfort stop on the way to Folkestone for the Eurotunnel crossing to Calais. Continuing into Belgium and in to Holland before arriving at our hotel around 7.00pm. Excellent 4* hotel from the Leonardo Hotel. Settle in to your room before your evening dinner - 3 course set menu dinner. Vegetarian option available on request - please advise when booking.

DAY 2 
Head down for an extensive hot & cold buffet breakfast to set you up for the day. Departing for Keukenhof Gardens, located near the coast and the town of Lisse and is approximately 1 1/4 hours away from the hotel. Entrance to the gardens is included in the price of your holiday. We shall stay at the park for the whole day, so plenty of time to explore this extraordinary visual feast for the senses. Returning to the hotel early evening for dinner

DAY 3
Today is a day at leisure in The Hague or you may choose to join our excursion to Amsterdam.

Our hotel position and the excellent and easy public transport system means The Hague is a joy to explore. And it is very flat! If you like to walk, the Scheveningen Beach area is only 25 minutes away and offers a perfect escape with its long sandy shores, vibrant boardwalk, and attractions like the iconic pier and Ferris wheel. Visit World Class Museums - The Mauritshuis Museum is a cultural treasure, showcasing masterpieces from the Dutch Golden Age, including Vermeer’s iconic Girl with a Pearl Earring and works by Rembrandt. Experience the surreal world of Escher in Het Paleis, dedicated to the mind-bending optical illusions and artworks of M.C. Escher. Explore Royal Palaces and Parks such as the Noordeinde Palace, one of the Dutch royal family’s working palaces, and enjoy the nearby gardens and parks, perfect for a relaxing stroll. If you fancy some shopping, stroll through De Passage, the Netherlands’ oldest shopping arcade, where you’ll find an array of boutique shops, cafés, and restaurants. Too much to see in a day!

DAY 4
Enjoy a last hot & cold breakfast buffet at the hotel before departure. Travelling again through Belgium before arriving at the coast in Northern France. Return crossing will be either by short sea crossing or Eurotunnel - details available before the tour departs. Arriving back in the local area at approximately 7.00pm.
