Our day begins in Wareham, one of Dorset’s oldest market towns, beautifully situated between the River Frome and River Piddle. Surrounded by ancient Saxon walls and filled with character, Wareham offers a peaceful atmosphere with quaint streets, independent shops, cosy cafés and historic buildings to discover at your leisure. Enjoy a gentle stroll along the riverside, browse the local boutiques or simply relax with morning refreshments while taking in the town’s timeless charm. 

Later, we continue through the scenic Dorset countryside to Swanage, a much-loved coastal town on the Isle of Purbeck. With its sweeping sandy bay, elegant promenade and traditional seaside feel, Swanage is perfect for a leisurely afternoon by the sea. Perhaps enjoy fish and chips overlooking the beach, explore the gift shops and tea rooms, or take a relaxing walk along the promenade and admire the stunning coastal scenery.
