Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the long promenade to the historic Victorian Eastbourne Pier, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the English Channel. Lined with traditional seaside charm, the promenade is home to elegant hotels, classic beach huts, and the Carpet Gardens with bandstand. Inland, the South Downs and High Weald offer majestic countryside, sprinkled with historic towns and villages. 

The famous Beachy Head, the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain, offers panoramic views of the coastline and the nearby Seven Sisters cliffs offer equally stunning vistas and are a must-see for photographers and outdoor enthusiasts. DAY 1
After being collected from your local pick up point around 8.00/9.30am with an extended stop in the centre of Chichester at lunchtime. Plenty of choice of eatery here with an attractive pedestrianised centre with the backdrop of the Cathedral. Reboarding the coach before arriving at the hotel mid-afternoon with time for a stroll. Once you have settled into your room, visit Langham’s Bar before dinner for a complimentary glass of mulled wine to get you in the Christmas mood with your fellow guests. Enjoy a three course dinner, before being entertained with live music.

You will receive a personal welcome from the management on arrival, nightly entertainment, live music, award-winning food from Head Chef Michael Titherington, all prepared with produce from local suppliers, including a traditional Christmas dinner. And, if you’ve been good, there’s even a visit from Father Christmas. 

DAY 2
Enjoy and extensive choice of hot and options for breakfast before todays excursion. Heading east we make a stop in Hastings Old Town where you can explore this charming area blending an old-school seaside vibe with Tudor styling and a lively arts scene - plenty of quirky shops to enjoy. From here we head on to Rye with plenty of stunning countryside along the way! Rye is a charming medieval town that feels like stepping into a storybook. With its cobbled streets, timber-framed houses, and rich history, Rye is a delight for history buffs and romantics alike. Explore the iconic Mermaid Street, visit the ancient St. Mary’s Church for panoramic views, or uncover tales of smugglers at the Rye Castle Museum. Excellent destination for an excursion. In the evening there will be a full traditional Christmas Dinner, crackers, and a special visit from Santa Claus with a present for every guest, followed by dancing to live music.

DAY 3
Time for you to relax around the hotel and explore the town or maybe take a bus long the coast. The hotel is located on the level seafront promenade, close to the Redoubt Fortress & Pavilion with walks through the seafront parks to enjoy. The walk along the seafront to the Pier and the town centre shops takes 10 to 15 minutes. Return to the Langham for tea, coffee, and mince pies. Boxing Day dinner in the restaurant and then a fun evening of live music.

DAY 4
After another delicious breakfast, board the coach for todays excursion. Enjoy a memorable day to Brighton, travelling by coach along the spectacular Seven Sisters coastline. This scenic route offers breathtaking views of white chalk cliffs, rolling South Downs and the English Channel. On arrival in Brighton, there’s time to explore at leisure. Visit the exotic Royal Pavilion, browse the independent shops and cafés in The Lanes, or enjoy a gentle stroll along the famous seafront promenade and pier. With plenty of seating, level pathways and welcoming tearooms, Brighton is ideal for a day out. A delightful blend of coastal scenery, history and traditional seaside charm. Returning to the hotel mid/late afternoon. It’s the last night of the year, with a celebratory dinner, hats and party poppers, plus live music – and, of course, a chorus of Auld Lang Syne.

DAY 5
Sadly, we leave Eastbourne and head home, making a comfort stop in the morning before arriving back in the local area early afternoon - around 1.00/2.00pm.
