Nestled on the stunning Pembrokeshire coast, Tenby is a charming seaside town that remains extremely popular with the British holidaymaker. As spring gives way to early summer, Tenby comes alive with colour, longer days and a relaxed coastal atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for a leisurely and scenic break. With its pastel-coloured Georgian houses, historic town walls, and cobbled streets, Tenby is a haven for those looking to relax and unwind.

Stroll along the award-winning beaches, where the golden sands stretch out undisturbed and the sea breeze refreshes the soul. Enjoy panoramic views from Castle Hill or wander the tranquil harbour as the fishing boats bob gently in the water. It’s the ideal time to discover this historic town at your own pace, free from the summer crowds, and embrace the authentic atmosphere of Wales.

Stroll along the ancient town walls, wander through the cobbled streets, or relax in the delightful independent shops and cafés that line the town centre.

Tenby’s beaches are a real highlight, with golden sands stretching along the coastline and crystal-clear waters glistening in the spring sunshine. North Beach offers classic seaside views, while Castle Beach and South Beach provide quieter spots for gentle walks and photography. Boat trips to nearby Caldey Island also resume in May, offering a wonderful opportunity to explore this peaceful and historic island.

Pembrokeshire offers some of the finest coastal views in the United Kingdom - from intimate rocky coves to sweeping sandy bays and some of the most consistently highly rated beaches in the country. We are delighted to be returning to the friendly family run Clarence House Hotel which offers beautiful views over South Beach, good food & entertainment.

Whether you're after coastal tranquillity, scenic beauty, or cultural charm, Tenby remains serene, unspoiled, and brimming with Welsh character.
