Experience the magic of Christmas on a truly spectacular scale with a visit to the Thursford Christmas Spectacular in the heart of Norfolk – the largest Christmas show of its kind in Europe.

This dazzling production is a feast for the senses, combining traditional festive charm with breathtaking theatrical flair. Each year, the show features a cast of over 100 performers, including an outstanding live orchestra, professional singers, dancers, choirs and speciality acts. Many performers come from West End, touring theatre and international circus backgrounds, ensuring a level of talent that is second to none.

At the heart of the Spectacular is a joyous celebration of Christmas music. Audiences are treated to a rich mix of classic carols, beloved festive songs and rousing musical numbers, all performed live with powerful vocals and sweeping orchestral accompaniment. The show is presented in a variety format, seamlessly blending music, dance, comedy and visual spectacle, with moments of humour and warmth that appeal to all generations.

The setting is just as impressive as the performance itself. Thursford’s vast show barn is transformed into a festive wonderland, complete with stunning lighting effects, elaborate costumes and beautifully designed staging. DAY 1
Leaving your convenient local pick-up point in the morning (approx. 8.00/9.15am), settle back in comfort and enjoy the journey to Norfolk. Stops along the way for your comfort including a main stop for lunch before we arrive in Norfolk around 5.00pm. Time to settle into your room before dinner in the hotel restaurant - time to enjoy the facilities of the hotel before dinner. 3 courses - served at the table with 3 choices per course

DAY 2
Head for the restaurant for a Holiday Inn full buffet breakfast! Plenty to choose from with a range of hot and cold options on offer. If you want to be transferred in to the centre of Norwich the coach will depart the hotel around 9.30am. Discover the vibrant heart of Norwich, where medieval streets meet a lively modern city. Explore the stunning cathedral, historic market, independent shops and cosy cafés. The coach returns to collect around 1.00pm and returns to the hotel. 

As we are visiting Thursford for the evening performance todays main meal will be served in the hotel restaurant around 3.00pm before we depart for Thursford around 4.30pm. Arriving in good time for the 7.00pm performance of this wonderful show - we should arrive back at the hotel around 11.00/30pm.

DAY 3
Enjoy another delicious breakfast at the hotel before we depart around 9.30am and head for home. Stopping on route for lunch and coffee before arriving back in the local area at approximately 5.00/6.00pm.

The Holiday Inn Norwich City is an excellent modern hotel we have used many times and is extremely popular with our customers. Adjoining Norwich City Football Club stadium, the historic buildings of the city centre are only a 15/20 minute walk away but the pleasant Riverside Complex which includes a range of restaurants, bars and cinemas is only a 10 minute stroll. 

Decorated in a clean, modern style throughout, the hotel has proven to be a hit with our customers visiting the Thursford Christmas Spectacular. Excellent quality surroundings, with a lovely atmosphere and great staff. 

Meals are served in the contemporary restaurant with a superb hot buffet breakfast and 3 course evening meal with 3 choices per course. Enjoy a selection of traditional British favourites such as steak pie, fish and chips, and three-bean chilli - menu varies!   

The bedrooms are spacious, modern and comfortably furnished with en-suite facilities - shower over bath - no separate showers available. Select from 1 x King Size Bed, 2 x Double Beds - Twin or Single Occupancy of a King/Twin Bedded Room. Room facilities include tea/coffee making, satellite TV and hairdryer. Lift to all floors.
