DAY 1
After being collected from your local pick point around 7.00/8.30am, sit back and relax as we head north to Nottinghamshire. Comfort stops along the way as required including a main stop for lunch. We should arrive at the hotel late afternoon with time to settle in to your room before dinner and the evening entertainment.

DAY 2
Lovely day out today as we head for the historic city of Lincoln. One of England's great cities with charming medieval and Georgian streets, a Norman Castle and the majestic Cathedral. Check out Steep Hill which leads up to the cathedral - an historic cobbled street lined with lovely shops or the exciting Brayford Wharf waterfront area - great choice of places for lunch.

DAY 3
A day at leisure today, so enjoy a leisurely breakfast and relax around the hotel. Enjoy a stroll around the grounds, enjoy the leisure facilities of the resort and enjoy the atmosphere of the hotel.

DAY 4
After breakfast we head off for today's excursion. Nestled on the banks of the River Trent, Newark-on-Trent is a historic market town bursting with character and charm. Explore the imposing ruins of Newark Castle, stroll along the riverside, or browse the bustling market square with its independent shops and lively cafés. The town’s rich Civil War history is brought to life at the award-winning National Civil War Centre.

DAY 5
We depart the hotel after breakfast and have a stop for lunch and a refreshment stop before arriving back in the local area around 4.00/5.00pm.

Extremely popular on previous visits, Warner’s 4* Thoresby Hall offers some of the best facilities in the group. Set in beautiful parkland near Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire the Historic  House offers excellent cuisine and outstanding entertainment. Enjoy the original features of this impressive House with deep armchairs in the vaulted splendour of the Great Hall, with the broad terrace overlooking the croquet lawn and acres of classic parkland. There are two separate bars, the Library and the Late Lounge and the Thoresby Courtyard has a selection of shops.

There will of course, be the usual quality nightly entertainment during your stay and an extensive leisure suite including 18m indoor swimming pool and Spa treatments are available. 

Accommodation is located in purpose made buildings around the Manor House. Finished to an excellent standard the comfortably furnished en-suite bedrooms - separate showers - subject to availability - please check when booking. Other facilities include TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Passenger lift.
