There are plenty of attractions for the visitor – Manchester is a city which blends the new with the old, with plenty of magnificent stone buildings in the city centre and glass skyscrapers. Landmarks worth noting include  the Victorian gothic Town Hall, the John Rylands Library, Manchester Cathedral, Chetham’s Library – the oldest public library in the English-speaking world, The Royal Exchange Theatre, housed in a former cotton trading hall and The Midland Hotel, a luxurious Edwardian hotel, famous for its grand architecture and historic guests, including Winston Churchill and the Rolling Stones. 

The city that seamlessly blends its industrial heritage with cutting-edge culture and is of course the birthplace of legendary bands like Oasis, The Smiths, and Joy Division, Manchester’s music scene is second to none with a choice of venue to discover.

DAY 1
Leaving your local pick-up point in the morning (approx. 7.30/8.30am), sit back and relax in your comfortable seat onboard one of our modern touring coaches. Morning comfort break plus a main stop for lunch before we arrive at our city centre hotel around 3.00pm. Settle in to your room and then are free to spend time as you wish! Manchester has a fantastic selection of restaurants. You may like to check them out and book before arriving.

DAY 2
In the morning enjoy a continental breakfast with a selection of fresh pastries, cereals, yogurts, fruits, juices, and artisan bread or for those who prefer a hot breakfast, enjoy a full English breakfast including sausages, bacon, eggs, baked beans, and grilled tomatoes. The cozy and elegant dining setting adds to the experience; fuel up before exploring Manchester. 

DAY 3
After breakfast we will start the journey home with comfort breaks on route. Arriving back in the local area around 4.00pm.
