To make you aware, the scale of this resort hotel is large and may cause difficulties to guests with mobility problems. Our allocated accommodation will be located in the south wing which will be a 10 minute walk away from the restaurants and entertainment venues. This walk is all under cover.  The Wellness Spa & Swimming pool are a further 10 minute walk away.

DAY 1
After being from your convenient local pick up point around 9.00/10.30am we shall be stopping in the centre of Winchester for an extended lunch stop. Reboarding the coach to arrive at the hotel mid/late afternoon. Relax in to the accommodation before dinner. Our group has been allocated the Market Kitchen for our meals with a choice of 3 course menu. After dinner, head for the entertainment or relax around the lounges.

DAY 2
Enjoy a lovely start to the day with a delicious breakfast - huge choice on offer with an extensive continental buffet or full cooked option. We have included an excursion today. Enjoy passing through some wonderful scenery as we travel into the Cotswolds, first stopping in the charming town of Broadway - ‘The Jewel of the Cotswolds’. Some of the most beautiful examples of the Cotswolds architecture here with beautiful honey-coloured houses throughout the village. Stroll along the wide High Street, lined with boutique shops, galleries, and tearooms. From here we go on to Stow-on-the-Wold. This picture-postcard market town has an impressive Square where it has been hosting markets since the 12th century. Charming Georgian buildings, plenty of shops to explore and a choice of eateries and pubs for lunch. Great day - returning to the hotel for free time before dinner & entertainment.

DAY 3
After breakfast there is another excursion which you may like to join, all included with your holiday. We travel across the Cotswolds, heading for the beautiful spa town of Cheltenham. One of the finest examples of a Regency town in the country, Cheltenham is characterised by it’s houses with intricate ironwork balconies and painted stucco facades. Discover some of the finest shopping in the South West on the High Street and Regent Arcade. For a different twist - head to the tree lined Promenade for a Continental feel or Montpellier for high end shops and lovely public gardens. Superb destination.

DAY 4
There will be a short excursion out today as we head to the town of Witney. This charming market town in the Cotswolds, is steeped in history and surrounded by picturesque countryside. Famous for its wool and blanket-making heritage, Witney’s story dates back to the Middle Ages, with the 18th-century Blanket Hall showcasing its rich textile past. St. Mary’s Church, with its striking spire, and the historic Buttercross add to the town’s character. Enjoy independent shops, enjoy the atmosphere and grab a coffee in one of the cafés, or take a seat in the park. Returning to the hotel for an afternoon at leisure.

DAY 5 

Sadly, we have to leave Heythrop and head home. We shall be stopping off at the excellent Swindon Designer Outlet which is housed in the beautifully renovated Grade II listed buildings of the Great Western Railway Works. Excellent choice of restaurants, coffee houses and cafes for an early lunch and a quick shop before we continue. Returning to the local area late afternoon.

Originally the vision of the Duke of Shrewsbury in the early 1700s and built on a gigantic scale, Heythrop has an amazing history through family home to school and on to become a hotel.

Heythrop is large with plenty of places to relax and enjoy your time away. The great thing about Warner Hotels is there is always something going on but you choose what you want to do. Activities include daily quizzes in the lounges and bars, chef-hosted cookery demos and gin and cocktail tasting to dance workshops plus fitness, yoga and meditation classes. There’s also aerobics, both in and out of the pool, or guided history tours. Outside there are daily sessions of archery, rifle shooting and laser clay which take place in purpose-built and weather-proof ranges near The T Golf & Activities centre. Plus, of course, there is plenty of opportunity to take a walk through the estate.

Meal time is another highlight of your Warner Break. For this break - dinner & breakfast will be taken in the stylish Market Kitchen Restaurant. Superb choice for a hot or cold breakfast and a 3 course evening dinner with excellent menu.
