New destination for 2024!
Like the site of the Tate Modern before it, Battersea Power Station has been transformed and regenerated - in to a shopping and leisure facility. The four iconic towers, which used to power 1/5th of the Capital remain with the riverside front laid to lawn and walkways. Inside, this spectacular 1930s building the huge, vaulted skylights pour light in to the main Turbine Hall where there are a host of shops to explore - some are high end, the likes of Mulberry and Chanel, but there art high street names such as Nike and M&S too.
The entire sight has been remodeled with a mix of swanky apartments, and over 140 shops, bars, restaurants, leisure and entertainment venues, parks and historical spaces. Too many coffee shops and eateries to mention - but the likes of Gordon Ramsey's Street Pizza, Roti King and Wagamama are in attendance and a host of independents!
If you fancy a view there is the opportunity to take the Chimney Lift to the top of the North West chimney! Fantastic views over the city from the viewing platform 109 metres up! Extra cost involved and this should be pre-booked - just need to keep an eye on their booking page. Please be careful when booking a time as our arrival time in London is very much subject to traffic and you don't want to miss your spot! Please check the trip is operating before booking as we cannot be held responsible for any additional costs you may incur.
