The Cotswolds is one of the most beautiful and quintessentially 'English' areas of the country and is dotted with delightful towns and villages with distinctive limestone cottages. We tour through the area stopping at two of the best towns to visit. After a comfort stop on the way we arrive at the popular town of Burford. The charming high street is lined by hotels, pubs and restaurants with antique shops and galleries offering quirky gifts. The picturesque ancient stone buildings, typical of the region, lead down to the River Windrush. Reboarding the coach we head to perhaps the most famous town in the Cotswolds - the delightful town of Bourton-on-the-Water with it's charming low stone bridges over the River Windrush which runs through the town. Explore the gift shops and find somewhere nice for lunch before we head home around 3.30pm. Great day out and very popular.
