One of our most popular Warner destinations, Nidd Hall is located close to Harrogate in glorious Yorkshire countryside. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Yorkshire Dales and Yorkshire Moors and with plenty of historic houses, towns and villages to discover. Blending modern comforts with a heritage setting the hotel is also surrounded by 45 acres of Victorian parkland, sculptured lawns, stepped terraces and its own lake. Famously, this was also the place where Edward VIII met Wallis Simpson. It’s a wonderful destination for a memorable UK holiday.

DAY 1
After being collected from your local pick up point around 7.00/8.15am, sit back, relax and enjoy the journey on the way to Yorkshire. We have comfort stops as required including an extended lunch stop - arriving at the hotel late afternoon with time to relax before dinner. Afterwards, take your seat for an evening of live entertainment.

Warner entertainment for this break is RE-MIXED - featuring Yorkshire's queen of comedy, Jo Little plus the amazing vocal talent of Graham James, ballroom and party dancing!

DAY 2
Enjoy a hot breakfast or something lighter and enjoy the ambience of the resort this morning. We have a short excursion today but you are free to remain at the hotel if you wish. We head to the town of Knaresborough - a town you may well have seen before - it has a magnificent picturesque viaduct over the River Nidd.  With a wealth of history, cobbled streets, castle and plenty of lovely places to find something nice for lunch it is a great location to spend some time.

DAY 3
Memorable day out today as we head to Newby Hall, one of England’s finest houses with exceptional 18th century interior decoration. Set within a grand country estate in the style of Sir Christopher Wren, the superb contents of the house include a set of Gobelin Tapestries, a gallery of classical statuary and some of Chippendale’s finest furniture. The award winning gardens are simply glorious with many smaller gardens leading off from the world famous double borders which lead down to the River Ure. Within the 25 acres of gardens there are many rare and beautiful plants including the  National Collection of Cornus. Entrance fees to House & Gardens included. 

DAY 4
After breakfast, another excursion today with a visit to nearby Harrogate. This beautiful spa town, renowned for its water quality, the town is a great location for a visit. Enjoy the public gardens and beautiful parks around the town, handsome tree-lined boulevards and lovely architecture. There is an array of high end shops and boutiques and plenty of cafes and eateries including the famous tea room at Betty’s! 

DAY 5
After breakfast we depart the hotel and have refreshment stops as required before returning to the local area around 5.00pm.

Set in 45 acres, Nidd Hall’s Regency style gives the hotel a serene atmosphere with lovely views over the surrounding parkland and gardens. With your spare time why not head out on to to the large terrace and enjoy those country views with a refreshing drink. In the evening The Rawson restaurant provides a relaxed ambience with a choice of menu for your evening meal. 

Being a Warner hotel, there are excellent leisure facilities including heated indoor pool, sauna, tennis, outdoor bowling and much more. For many, the highlight of their Warner holiday is the excellent live nightly entertainment. There is normally a selection of different acts including comedians, singers and ballroom dancers! 

The bedrooms are always a good standard - comfortably furnished en-suite rooms have colour TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Passenger lift.
