After the arrival of the railway this fishing village was transformed and  became a favourite retreat for the Victorians. The long and flat seafront esplanade offers lovely views across Torbay with leisure facilities for the visitor. The town has some lovely public gardens and good shopping with an abundance of cafes and restaurants. For those who like to explore on their own why not catch a bus along the coast road to the neighbouring towns of Torquay or Brixham. DAY 1
After being collected from your local pick up point around 8.30 to 9.30am we have comfort stops as required before arriving at the hotel for our “Christmas Eve”. Start your break with a relaxing and much needed cup of tea or coffee and a festive mince pie, before a complimentary drink before dinner. A sumptuous 3 course dinner is served in the elegant restaurant followed by festive entertainment or find a quiet spot around the hotel if preferred.

DAY 2
Enjoy a full English Breakfast before Santa arrives with a little gift for all the guests!  Late-morning, we depart for a mystery excursion out to a local destination, organised by your driver. Plenty of lovely places to discover before returning to the hotel mid-afternoon. Why not enjoy a walk along the front before the evening festivities with a traditional Christmas Dinner followed by entertainment.

DAY 3
Full English Breakfast or lighter alternatives are available before a day at leisure to enjoy the ambience of the hotel and enjoy the facilities and attractions of the town. Work up an appetite this afternoon before another evening of festive cuisine followed by live entertainment. 

DAY 4
“New Year’s Eve” Today, after breakfast, your driver will arrange for a mystery excursion out to a local destination before returning for the final evening of festivities. Tea, coffee and mince pies will be served and there will be a fun festive quiz. Dress to impress tonight for the Black Tie (if you want too!) evening dinner followed by after-dinner mulled wine.

DAY 5
We head home with a stop for lunch before arriving back to your local drop off point around 3.00/4.00pm.
