Lille is transformed in to a Winter Wonderland at Christmas time with the arrival of the largest Christmas Markets in Northen France to the city centre. The Place Rihour comes alive as over 80 wooden chalets open on the square selling crafts and produce from local tradesmen. With plenty going on throughout the day, one of the highlights is the giant Ferris wheel giving a panoramic view of the city. Our city centre hotel is a great base for exploring the city sights, perfect for recharging the batteries! The centre of Lille has lovely traditional buildings and has many shops, cafes and restaurants and landmarks include the famous Goddess statue, The Deesse.

DAY 1
Departing your local pick-up point (8.00am approx.) in the morning we travel to Folkestone with refreshment stop on route. We board the Eurotunnel early afternoon and should arrive in Lille around 4.00pm local time.
DAYS 2 & 3
During your time in Lille your time is at leisure to enjoy the whole experience of the Christmas Markets and the city centre shops and restaurants.
DAY 4
We leave the hotel in the morning and head back to the Eurotunnel at Calais for the lunchtime crossing. Arriving back in the local area approx. 5.00pm.
