Lovely day out to this beautiful Cathedral city of ageless beauty with a captivating history. 

At the city’s heart is Salisbury Cathedral, a beacon seen from miles away which has attracted visitors for centuries. Gathered around the Cathedral is a collection of medieval buildings with plenty of places to sit and wonder on those who have travelled before. The traditional English architecture continues along the streets with some excellent independent shopping, a range of coffee shops and cafes plus some fine traditional pubs.

On Tuesdays the city hosts the historical market which has run since 1227 in Salisbury Market Place!! With around 70 stalls, the market offers a wide range of goods including food, cheese, bread, cakes, clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery, watches, flowers and plants, music, tools, collectables, homeware and more. There is a central hot food area offering Hog roast, Thai, South African and Indian Food.
