Join us for a wonderful pre-Christmas day out to historic Winchester at the end of November, when the city is transformed by its festive atmosphere. Explore the charming pedestrianised streets, browse the independent shops and enjoy the many cafés and restaurants at your leisure.
A particular highlight is the Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market, one of the most popular festive markets in the country. Set within the beautiful Cathedral Close, the market features a wide range of carefully selected stalls offering unique gifts, decorations, seasonal treats, food and drink. It is the perfect place to find something special for Christmas while enjoying the wonderful surroundings of the Cathedral.
There will also be plenty of time to explore Winchester itself, perhaps visiting the magnificent cathedral, taking a stroll through the historic centre or simply soaking up the atmosphere.
