DAY 1
After departing your local pick-up point approximately 7.15/8.30am, sit back and relax in comfort as we head for Warwickshire. There will be a comfort stop on route before we arrive in the historic town of Stratford upon Avon around midday. Plenty of time for you to enjoy the lovely atmosphere of this unique town and take in the stunning architecture of the black and white houses and shop fronts. Plenty of places to find somewhere nice for lunch or grab something on the go and head down to see the canal boats on the river. The coach will return to collect around 4.00/4.30pm and we continue to the hotel which is only 10 minutes drive from the town. Time to relax, settle in to your room, maybe take a swim or relax in the bar before dinner. Dinner served in the restaurant - 3 courses with choice.
A complimentary beer, wine or soft drink is included with your break.
DAY 2
Enjoy a full hot and cold breakfast buffet at the hotel before boarding the coach around 9.30am and heading to the beautiful village of Broadway, often described as the “Jewel of the Cotswolds.” Stroll along its elegant High Street lined with honey-coloured cottages, boutique shops and cosy cafés. Take in the peaceful atmosphere and enjoy a hot drink in one of the charming cafes before we continue through stunning scenery to Swindon and the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet.
Built on the site of the former Great Western Railway Works and opened in 1997, the revitalised historic Grade II-listed buildings retain the original character of the railway workshops, with elements like a steam locomotive displayed in the food court. Wide choice of eateries await you for lunch and time to browse the impressive range of shops - great place for a bargain! Continuing the journey home and returning to the local area around 5.00/6.00pm.
