We arrive in Salisbury late morning with free time to explore this historic jewel - named as one of the world's Top 10 Cities to visit in 2015 by Lonely Planet.  So much to see, with wonderful medieval buildings, Museums, historic houses to visit, public gardens and riverside walks. There is excellent independent shopping, a range of coffee shops and cafes plus some fine traditional pubs.

Meeting back at the cathedral for a very special festive afternoon which begins at 2.00pm. This festive season, join Salisbury Cathedral Choir for group carols as they perform seasonal music for the congregation to join in and sing along. Expect favourites such as O Come, All Ye Faithful and Once in Royal David’s City! You can also expect Christmas readings. After the concert, seasonal refreshments will be served in the Cathedral with mulled wine/spiced apple and a mince pie. Once you have looked around, you are welcome to visit the Gift Shop for some last-minute Christmas shopping. 

The Christmas tree from Longleat sustainable forest will be in place at the West End from early December. 

Group carol tickets also allow entry to The Cathedral - 10.00am to 12.30pm (last entry) and Chapter House (Magna Carta) after the concert on the day. 

Dropping off point – Coach set down point - St John’s Street, just outside the Cathedral Close - opposite The Chapter House Hotel

Departure - 4.15pm
Return to the local area – 5.15/6.15pm approx.
