DAY 1
Collected from your local pick up point around 7.30/8.30am - step onboard your top quality modern touring coach for a comfortable journey to the East of England. We have comfort stops during the day, including an extended stop at lunchtime, before arriving at the hotel late afternoon. Settle into your room and enjoy the atmosphere of the hotel before dinner – 3 courses with choice of menu throughout your stay.


DAY 2
Fascinating day today as we travel through the countryside to Sandringham House. With a fascinating history linked the the British Monarchy since 1862, the estate remains the country retreat of their Majesties The King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Surrounded by extensive parkland, the famous church and beautiful gardens the main ground floor rooms, used by The Royal Family are full of their treasured ornaments, portraits and furniture. The Museum located in the stables has a collection of vehicles used by the Royal family and a photographic exhibition which shows the history of Sandringham House. There is transport to the house provided for the less able, but this is a large scale estate which may prove challenging for the less able. Lovely restaurant for lunch, gift shop and plant centre. Entrance included.

DAY 3
Enjoy a wonderful day of nostalgia and scenic beauty with a steam train journey from Aylsham to Wroxham, followed by a relaxing cruise on the famous Norfolk Broads. Step aboard the lovingly restored Bure Valley Railway, Norfolk’s longest narrow-gauge line, and travel through nine miles of delightful countryside, passing quaint villages and open fields. At Wroxham, known as the ‘Capital of the Broads’, board your comfortable river cruiser for a 90-minute narrated cruise along the tranquil waterways. Sit back and admire the peaceful scenery, windmills, reed beds, and abundant wildlife that make this area so special. With time to browse the charming shops and cafés of Wroxham before returning to the hotel late afternoon. Train/boat included.


DAY 4
Lovely day exploring Norwich today. We start with a guided coach tour of the city centre, seeing many of the main attractions and gain an insight in to the trading history which brought huge wealth to the area including most famously - the mustard industry. Plenty of free time after to return to points of interest or just enjoy strolling the historic streets and find somewhere nice for lunch.


DAY 5
We leave Norwich in the morning with comfort stops as required on the journey before arriving back in the local area around 5.00/6.00pm.

The Holiday Inn Norwich City is an excellent modern hotel we have used many times and is extremely popular with our customers. Adjoining Norwich City Football Club stadium, the historic buildings of the city centre are only a 15/20 minute walk away but the pleasant Riverside Complex which includes a range of restaurants, bars and cinemas is only a 10 minute stroll. 

Decorated in a clean, modern style throughout, the hotel has proven to be a hit with our customers visiting the Thursford Christmas Spectacular. Excellent quality surroundings, with a lovely atmosphere and great staff. 

Meals are served in the contemporary restaurant with a superb hot buffet breakfast and 3 course evening meal with 3 choices ber course. Enjoy a selection of traditional British favourites such as steak pie, fish and chips, and three-bean chilli - menu varies!   

The bedrooms are spacious, modern and comfortably furnished with en-suite facilities - shower over bath - no separate showers available. Select from 1 x King Size Bed, 2 x Double Beds - Twin or Single Occupancy of a King/Twin Bedded Room. Room facilities include tea/coffee making, satellite TV and hairdryer. Lift to all floors.
