Join us for an unforgettable journey as we travel in comfort and style aboard one of our luxury coaches to the beautiful Italian Riviera, staying in the elegant resort of Diano Marina. Sit back, relax and enjoy the ever-changing scenery as we travel from England via Eurotunnel, through France and into Italy, with comfort stops during the day and an excellent overnight hotel stops each way - OVERNIGHT HOTELS UPGRADED FOR 2026! Our modern, air-conditioned coach offers reclining seats, panoramic windows and plenty of legroom, ensuring a smooth and relaxing journey all the way to the sun-kissed shores of the Mediterranean.

Nestled between Sanremo and Alassio, Diano Marina is one of the Riviera’s most attractive seaside towns, known for its palm-lined promenade, golden sandy beaches and relaxed Italian charm. You’ll have time to unwind by the sea, browse the stylish boutiques, and sample authentic Ligurian cuisine at welcoming cafés. The mild climate and gentle pace of life make this a perfect destination for a leisurely holiday.

DAY 1
After being collected from your local pick up point around 5.30/7.00am we head for our excellent hotel in the city of Dijon - centre of the region of Burgundy. We have a number of comfort stops during the day, so sit back relax and enjoy the changing scenery in the comfort of your seat. Late morning Eurotunnel crossing.

UPGRADED HOTEL FOR 2026

Experience comfort and convenience in the heart of the historic city of Dijon at the Mercure Dijon Centre Clemenceau, a stylish 4-star hotel ideally located opposite the Auditorium and Convention Centre. Guests are welcomed into contemporary surroundings with elegant décor and warm hospitality. The hotel’s spacious, air-conditioned bedrooms are designed for relaxation, featuring comfortable beds, tea and coffee facilities, flat-screen TVs, and free Wi-Fi. Each room has a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower or shower over bath, complete with quality toiletries and a sleek, accessible layout. You evening meal is included tonight and will be a set menu with 3 courses. In the morning enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet before we head off. Lift to all floors. 

DAY 2
We depart after breakfast and continue south. Again, plenty of stops with a main break for lunch before heading in to the beautiful Provence scenery and on for our first look at the Mediterranean. Crossing the border in to Italy and arriving at Diano Marina mid evening with a warm welcome from the hotel staff. Settle in to your room before dinner - the quality of the food served in this hotel is excellent!  

DAYS 3 to 6
During your stay in Diano Marina we shall have 2 excursions which are included in the price of the holiday. 

Our superb local guide will join us for an excursion to discover the Principality of Monaco with a day visiting Monte Carlo and a scenic tour of the coast and inland Liguria.

Monaco has a worldwide reputation as home to the rich and glamourous and is packed with luxury, culture, and history, making it a great destination for a day trip. Highlights include the old town, Prince's Palace, St Nicholas Cathedral and the famous Monte Carlo Casino. Plenty of time here to explore.

Thoroughly enjoyed by our customers on previous occasions, enjoy a day out with our local guide to discover Liguria. We drive along the beautiful coast road to Sanremo, our first stop today. An elegant resort known for it’s beautiful beaches, quaint harbour and pedestrian shopping area. After an orientation tour you are free to soak up the flavours of one of the best known resorts in Italy. We rejoin the coach, following the spectacular coast road before making our way inland where you will be able to see the villas and hotels used by the aristocrats and royals of Europe who favoured this part of the world for their winter vacations. We stop for lunch in the Nervia valley, in what used to be an old olive mill, sampling some of the Ligurian specialties - included in the price of your holiday. After lunch we visit the village of Dolceacqua, and step back 500 years in time. Wonderful day sampling the best of what Liguria offers, the present, past, amazing scenery, and the local food and wine.

The remainder of your time is free at your own leisure to relax, enjoy the sunshine, the friendly hotel and the resort of Diano Marina.

DAY 7
Sadly we leave the Mediterranean behind and begin the journey home. Wonderful views of southern France and with plenty of comfort stops as required before arriving at our overnight hotel.

DAY 8
We head back for the mid afternoon Eurotunnel crossing from Calais to Folkestone. Continuing the journey home, we aim to be back in the local area around 8.00pm.

4* Hotel Bellevue et Mediterranee

The Hotel Bellevue et Mediterranee in Diano Marina occupies a magnificent position with its own private beach and there is also a swimming pool and large terrace with plenty of sunbeds and seating.

We have been staying at this hotel for many, many years - proven to be one of our customers favourites. Offering outstanding levels of friendly, welcoming service and care. The food is a highlight - you will be served a large choice of good quality food in the restaurant whilst enjoying panoramic views of the sea with the hotel being well located for a stroll along the promenade or into the shopping area. All bedrooms are comfortable and have en suite bathroom with walk in shower, Satellite TV, phone, air conditioning and safe. Most (but not all) rooms are on the side of the hotel and have a small balcony, offering a view of the sea. But if you want a room directly facing the sea, these are subject to availability and supplements. Passenger lift.
