Located in the middle of the Irish Sea, the Isle of Man has proven to be a huge hit with our customers. It’s a stunningly beautiful island just 33 miles long and 13 miles wide. With a wealth of heritage, rugged coastlines, soaring hills and quiet beaches, it is not surprising that the Island has attracted visitors for many years. The famous TT motorcycle races bring hordes of enthusiasts from all over the world for this unique event, but the island also offers those seeking a relaxing break a lovely holiday. Each of the main towns have their own unique feature, from the iconic water wheel, Lady Isabella, in Laxey to the famous kipper curing activities in Peel on the west coast. We have included many of the highlights of the islands attractions and the services of a local guide. Come along and discover somewhere new. A very popular holiday.

DAY 1
After being collected from your local pick up point around 7.30/8.30am, sit back and relax in comfort on board one of our luxury touring coaches as we travel up to Preston in the North West for an overnight stay. There will be comfort stops including a main stop for lunch. Our hotel tonight is the Garner Hotel Preston Samlesbury. Good standard of accommodation with comfortable bedrooms offering modern comforts. Dinner tonight is 3 courses with 3 courses served in a buffet style or by waiting staff. Scheduled to arrive at the hotel with time to relax before dinner.

DAY 2 
Enjoy a full hot breakfast at the hotel before departing for Heysham to board the 2.15pm ferry crossing to Douglas. It is a 3 hour 45 minute crossing so we should arrive at 6.00pm and heading on to our hotel in time for dinner.

DAYS 3 to 5
During our time on the island we have 2 full day excursions discovering many parts of the island including a visit to the ‘Lady Isabella’, the largest water wheel in the world, a memorable train ride on the Snaefell Mountain Railway, Peel - home of the famous Manx kipper and a splendid castle, Castletown including entrance to Castle Rushen, one of the best medieval castles and the Folk Museum at Cregneash. Details will be finalised nearer to departure but most entrance fees will be included in the price of your holiday. We also include a free day in Douglas for you to relax in the locality of the hotel. Plenty to see in the town – enjoy the view or maybe visit the Manx Museum, take a horse tram along the promenade or stroll up Douglas Head to the Camera Obscura.

DAY 6
Early breakfast today as we leave the hotel and board the 8.45am ferry back to England. Continuing homewards with comfort stops as required before arriving back in the local area around 9.00pm

We have been using The Rutland Hotel in Douglas for many years now as it offers comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere on the Isle of Man. Perfectly situated on Queen’s Promenade, the hotel boasts sweeping views of Douglas Bay, giving your stay a spectacular coastal backdrop. Its central location makes it easy to explore the capital’s attractions, shops, and entertainment, while the ferry terminal and local transport links are just minutes away.

With 64 spacious and well-appointed bedrooms, the Rutland is well equipped. Rooms are modern and comfortable, offering free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and thoughtful amenities to ensure everyone enjoys a relaxing break. All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with shower only, TV, tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer. Please note - Single Rooms are singles.  

Please note due to the historic nature of the hotel there are 9 steps up to the entrance and some split levels in the hotel. 

You can relax and enjoy the views in the comfortable lounge or bar. Dinner is served in the stylish restaurant which will be a choice of 3 courses plus tea/coffee. For breakfast, there will be an extensive hot buffet.
