Superb holiday staying in the very heart of Cornish life in Looe and with excursions discovering the beautiful countryside, towns and people of the region. The historic fishing Port of Looe on Cornwall’s south coast is amazing - you can ‘feel’ the history of the town centred around the bustling harbour where you can watch the catch being ‘brought-in’ by the fishing boats.
It’s a great place to explore - stroll through the labyrinth of narrow streets lined with cafes, antique shops and pick up a tasty pasty in one of the bakers to enjoy on the sandy beach. A wonderful destination with a great hotel for a lovely holiday.
This hotel has been awarded a Travellers' Choice 2024 Award - meaning they consistently earn great reviews from travellers and are ranked within the top 10% of properties on Tripadvisor for enjoyment and value for money.

Settle in to the hotel and enjoy the views with a delicious and very welcome Cream Tea included in the price. During our stay there will be some evening entertainment.
DAY 2
Totally free day today so enjoy a leisurely breakfast overlooking the town. You make like to step on a local bus to one of the villages nearby, maybe board the Looe Valley Line to Liskeard, head along the South West Coast Path or just relax around town. Lovely, lovely!
DAY 3
Lovely excursion out today visiting the popular Lost Gardens of Heligan. Having fallen in to disrepair these amazing gardens were rediscovered by Tim Smit, who went on to establish the nearby Eden Project. From the more formal walled gardens, down to the sub-tropical Jungle area with giant palms and pond, these remarkable gardens offer something of interest for every eye. Great fun exploring here before we head down to the coast to Mevagissey. One of those classic Cornish fishing port - just a great place to stroll around and explore the narrow streets. Entrance to Gardens included in holiday price.
DAY 4
Excellent excursion day out today. Visiting the extensive country estate at Mount Edgecombe. Located on the banks of the River Tamar in Cornwall with a view straight into the Hoe in Plymouth and overlooking Plymouth Sound, it is a place of ancient barrows, mystical woodland, beautiful formal gardens, listed monuments, battle sites, forts, chapels and holy wells dotted along a remote coastline above secret beaches and smugglers’ coves. We have included entrance to the rebuilt Tudor house, home to many notable works of art by famous artists such as Sir Joshua Reynolds, Willem van de Velde and Gerard Edema. Amongst the many highlights to be found on display in the House are three large 16th century tapestries, two beautiful examples of Boulle furniture, a pair of extremely rare Irish Bronze Age horns, various clocks, sculptures, silverware and examples of Plymouth Porcelain. Entrance to the house included in holiday price.
DAY 5
We leave the hotel after breakfast and have a stop for lunch before arriving back to your local drop off point around 3.30/4.30pm.
