Returning to the excellent 3* Queens Hotel - part of the excellent Duchy Group which includes the Headlands in Torquay, the Palace Hotel in Paignton and Northfield in Minehead. We have been using these hotels for years - why? - because they are professionally run and offer a consistently high quality product for our customers. Cheaper alternatives are available but you will not get this quality! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Famous for its long sandy beaches, level promenade and colourful pier, Paignton lies on England’s beautiful English Riviera on Devon’s southern coast. The long and flat seafront esplanade offers lovely views across Torbay with leisure facilities for the visitor. The town has some lovely public gardens and good shopping with an abundance of cafes and restaurants. Paignton lies on the fantastic South West Coast Path with a chance to enjoy a coastal stroll. Plenty of lovely excursion destinations in the area. 

DAY 1

Departing your local pick-up point in the morning (approx. 9.30am), we travel to Paignton stopping for lunch in Bridport/West Bay or Otter Nurseries before arriving at  the hotel mid afternoon with time to relax in the hotel before dinner followed by entertainment. 

DAYS 2 to 4
Plenty of time to relax and enjoy your time away - lovely! Enjoy delicious full breakfasts at the hotel with the excellent Cosy Break package also including excellent evening entertainment every night plus on 2 of the afternoons an afternoon cup of tea with cake or biscuits along with a quiz or game of bingo!

We have included 2 excursions hopefully making the most of the weather conditions! It is also easy to explore the town on foot - the main commercial area with plenty of shops and cafes is only a 10 minute level walk away. The main bus station is in the centre so it is really easy to explore the coast - perhaps head to Torquay, Brixham or even Dartmouth.  

DAY 5

We head home with comfort stops as required - arriving back in the local area around 3.30/4.30pm.

We are delighted to be returning to The Queens Hotel, sister hotel of the excellent Palace Hotel and The Headland Hotel in Torquay.  Situated on the level, between the seafront and town centre, The Queens offers excellent accommodation and comes highly recommended. Leisure facilities at the hotel include an indoor swimming pool, games room, lounges and a bar. The Balmoral Restaurant is spacious, light, and comfortable and offers full waiter service so all you need to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy your evening meal - 3 course with choice. In the morning, set yourself up with a Full English breakfast or enjoy a choice of cold options. Live entertainment every night at The Queens - so enjoy some fun with cabaret performers! 

The comfortable bedrooms have en suite bathrooms - shower over bath - some separate showers available - check when booking. Room facilities with TV, tea/coffee making facilities and free WiFi. 

There is a passenger lift for your convenience.
