Sidmouth, situated on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast is a lovely town to visit at any time of year with a wonderful Esplanade and an excellent range of independent shops, cafes and pubs. DAY 1
Collected from your local pick up point approximately 9.30/10.30am, with a comfort stop and lunch stop on route before arriving in Sidmouth around 3.30pm with time to relax and settle into the hotel before dinner.
DAY 2
Enjoy a lovely breakfast at the hotel before we depart on todays excursion to Exeter. Much to see in this historic city which has some lovely historic buildings around the impressive Cathedral coupled with excellent adjacent shopping in the new Princesshay shopping centre. Head down to the quayside for a cup of coffee by the water. Returning to the hotel with free time to relax before dinner.
DAY 3
A free day to enjoy Sidmouth and the comfortable surroundings of the hotel - relax and unwind. Stroll along the seafront to see the spectacular red cliffs, enjoy the shops and the friendly atmosphere in the town – plenty of places for a cup of tea.
DAY 4
Lovely destination today - a coastal gem nestled at the end of the estuary of the River Exe, Exmouth has 2 miles of sandy beaches with a long, level promenade. A haven for wintering bird colonies, the town marks the western edge of the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic coast. The town's history goes back to the 13th century and since then it has been a maritime centre and has long been an attraction to visitors. There is an attractive marina and around the town their are examples of Georgian and Victorian architecture. Plenty of places to grab something nice to eat before heading back to the hotel.
DAY 5
After breakfast we leave the hotel and head home with a comfort stop on route. Dropped back to your local drop off point around 12.30/1.30pm.
