We arrive in Salisbury late morning with free time to explore this historic jewel - named as one of the world's Top 10 Cities to visit in 2015 by Lonely Planet.  So much to see, with wonderful medieval buildings, Museums, historic houses to visit, public gardens and riverside walks. There is excellent independent shopping, a range of coffee shops and cafes plus some fine traditional pubs.

Meeting back at the cathedral for a very special festive afternoon. This festive season, join Salisbury Cathedral Choir for group carols as they perform seasonal music for the congregation to join in and sing along. Expect favourites such as O Come, All Ye Faithful and Once in Royal David’s City! You can also expect Christmas readings as well as mulled wine and mince pies in the beautiful setting of the Cathedral. Once you have looked around, you are welcome to visit the Gift Shop for some last-minute Christmas shopping. 

The 34ft Christmas tree from Longleat sustainable forest will be in place at the West End from early December along with the Winter art exhibition. 

Group carol tickets also allow the guest entry to The Cathedral and Chapter House (Magna Carta) prior to the concert on the day.

Departure - 4.15pm
Return to the local area – 5.15/6.15pm approx.
