An excellent local day out to Southampton and a break from the norm! 

We head straight to Ocean Village in Southampton and board one of the excellent Blue Funnel pleasure boats for a lovely 2 hour cruise along Southampton Water. Turning up the beautiful Hamble River with views of the yachting marina made famous by the 80s TV show, 'Howard's Way' - remember that? - big hair and shoulder pads. During your time on board we have included a nice cup of coffee or tea and chef's cake! A very enjoyable trip.

Returning to Southampton at lunchtime we drop you at West Quay shopping centre. Choose from over 100 stores including John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Hollister, Jack Wills, Phase Eight, Zara and Next. On the top level there is a superb selection of restaurants to choose from - Nando's, Pizza Express, Five Guys, Wagamama and many more... The adjoining WestQuay Watermark development is open with a public plaza created and a host of new restaurants, bars and leisure facilities available. Plenty of other sights to see in the centre of Southampton.
