The State Apartments will be adorned with elegant Christmas decorations for the festive season, with wonderful Christmas trees, lights and festive garlands. Highlights include a 20-foot-high Christmas tree in St George’s Hall, dressed with hundreds of lights and ornaments. A chance to visit the Semi-State Rooms which are open to visitors for the winter months including the spectacular Crimson Drawing Room. These rooms are used by members of the Royal Family for official entertaining. St George's Chapel within the grounds of Windsor Castle is one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in England - an amazing sight at Christmas time. And don't forget to have your picture taken with one of The Guards!
Windsor town also has some stylish fashion shops and a huge variety of cafes and coffee shops.
