Fantastic day with entrance included to Windsor Castle.
The family home to British kings and queens for over 1,000 years and today one of the official residences of His Majesty, King Charles III. The largest and oldest occupied Castle in the world and it’s where Queen Elizabeth II chose to spend most of her private weekends.
Your entrance ticket includes access to the magnificent State Apartments, furnished with some of the finest works of art from the Royal Collection, including paintings by Holbein, Rubens and Van Dyck. St George's Chapel, the burial place of 11 monarchs including Queen Elizabeth II, Henry VIII and Charles I, is one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in England. The spectacular Semi-State Rooms are richly decorated, and used by the sovereign when hosting guests.
The Semi-State Rooms are not open on days when the State Apartments are closed. As Windsor Castle is a working royal palace, sometimes the entire Castle or the State Apartments within the Castle need to be closed at short notice.
