The delightful little town of Tenby is one of Pembrokeshire’s best loved seaside resorts with miles of sandy beaches and a delightful picturesque harbour. Beautifully located on the South West Wales coast, the old town walls, narrow streets and medieval houses add a lovely charm to the town. There are an array of shops, cafes and bars for you to discover during your stay. Enjoy wonderful ocean views from the cliff tops over the three great beaches. 

Pembrokeshire offers some of the finest coastal views in the United Kingdom - from intimate rocky coves to sweeping sandy bays and some of the most consistently highly rated beaches in the country. We are delighted to be returning to the friendly family run Clarence House Hotel which offers beautiful views over South Beach, good food & entertainment.

Our itinerary for this holiday is designed to have plenty of free time to enjoy Tenby as well as seeing some of the highlights of this beautiful region. 

DAY 1
After being collected from your local pick up point around 7.30/8.45am settle back and enjoy the journey as we head for West Wales. Comfort stops along the way including an extended stop for lunch before arriving in Tenby late afternoon. Time to settle in to your surroundings before dinner - 3 courses with choice of menu.

DAY 2
Enjoy a delicious hot Welsh breakfast at the hotel before we head off for todays excursion. Heading towards Haverfordwest before taking the coastal road along the edge of the National Park. Wonderful scenery along the way as we pass through Newgale and Solva before arriving at St Davids. The smallest 'city' in the UK due to the magnificent cathedral although the tow n itself is little bigger than a village! Lovely place to visit - definitely take the time to go in the cathedral. After a couple of hours here, we reboard the coach and head back to Tenby for time at leisure. 

DAY 3
A day at leisure in Tenby. Plenty to explore, maybe go for a coastal walk, enjoy lunch down by the harbour or why not take a boat over to Caldey Island.

DAY 4
We shall head off this morning for the historic town of Pembroke which has an attractive riverside location. The town has a long high street with cheery, colourful, mismatched houses, interlaced with alleyways and passages. Around the town there are a host of gift shops and galleries with plenty of places to choose from for lunch. At the end of the high street lies Pembroke Castle. We start the day here with a guided tour. The town shining jewel – first built in the 11th century, with imposing walls and a chequered history. Perhaps the most important being the birthplace of Henry VII who began the Tudor dynasty. The castle takes around 2 hours to explore.  Plenty of time after to explore the town and grab a bite to eat before we head back for free time in Tenby. Entrance & guided tour included.

DAY 5
We depart the hotel in the morning and have comfort stops as required including an extended stop for lunch before arriving back in the local area around 4.30pm.

Clarence House Hotel

Occupying a superb position on the clifftop, overlooking South Beach & Caldey Island, this friendly, family run hotel is a highly rated destination. The lovely town centre and harbour are only a 5 minute walk away. Outside you can enjoy a drink in the lovely garden or on the clifftop terrace over the road. Happy Hours every day during your stay in the Seagull bar. 

With a good reputation for food, meals are served in the seafront dining room with a 3 course evening meal with choice of menu and a hot breakfast. All meals served by a friendly waiter.  During our stay there will be some evening entertainment at the hotel. All rooms are comfortable - simply furnished with en suite bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. Passenger lift to all floors. WiFi.
