After being collected from your convenient local pick point we head for the centre of Winchester.  A fantastic town with an amazing history. Once the Capital of England and former seat of King Alfred the Great, the city is packed with historic buildings including the impressive 11th Century Cathedral combined with tranquil green spaces and an array of interesting independent shops. There is no shortage of eating places in the centre! Stopping here for a couple of hours, so plenty of time to enjoy a 'brunch' before re-boarding the coach.

We head on to near Odiham in North Hampshire where we board our boat for a trip along the Basingstoke Canal. Step aboard the 68 foot widebeam John Pinkerton, manned by trained volunteers of the Basingstoke Canal Society. Enjoy the wildlife and countryside on our 2 1/2 hour cruise along tranquil stretches of water. You can also enjoy a drink from the licensed bar -  loo on board.

Price includes boat fare.
