Few cities rival the historic splendour of York and it is no wonder that it is one of our top selling destinations. Steeped in history spanning 2000 years, York is a compact walled riverside city home to world-class attractions including the stunning York Minster. We stay within the medieval city walls allowing you time to explore the historic centre and its many attractions and cobbled streets lined with interesting and original shops. Don’t miss The Shambles, perhaps the most picturesque streets in England complete with overhanging timber-framed houses and traditional shopfronts. York Minster, one of the largest cathedrals in Northern Europe is also on the must
do list. In fact, add the excellent Jorvik Viking Centre and National Railway Museum and its easy to see why many of our customers choose to spend all their time in the city! York - if you haven’t been - go.

Picturesque and tranquil, The Moors comprise 1,400 sq miles of natural beauty, one of the largest heather moorlands in Europe, pine forests, rolling hills and coastline. Lookout for the wildlife during the day too. And it is not all scenery, as we travel past historic abbeys, castles, priories, traditional pubs and villages and hamlets. The tour includes a look along the dramatic coastline of this area including a stop in Whitby. Queens Hotel

We have been taking groups to The Queens for many years.

Ideally situated on the banks of the River Ouse in the heart of the city, the hotel has been one of our most popular locations. Just a short stroll over the river and your York discovery begins with all the major tourist attractions within a 15 minute walk - many much closer. The hotel has a Riverside Bar & Lounge, perfect for relaxing before your 3 course dinner in the restaurant with choice of menu. Good standard of food at The Queens.

Over the last few years many improvements have been made with standards raised in the bedrooms and public areas. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with power shower, tea/coffee making facilities, colour television, hairdryer and direct dial telephone. Lift to all floors.
