Come along for a fun festive break away at this fun hotel in Torquay – the heart of the English Riviera. Turkey & Tinsel breaks are a great, fun way to enjoy the run up to Christmas with cuisine and entertainment in hotels decorated for the festive period.
Blessed with a balmy climate and famous for its palm trees, it's easy to see why Torquay has attracted visitors since Victorian times. There is stunning scenery along the coast road and historic towns are dotted throughout the region. The traditional harbour and stylish Princess Pier marina area offer the town a continental atmosphere, with a growing selection of eateries to sample. Stroll along the attractive waterfront esplanade to the new Abbey Crescent leisure development and enjoy a drink overlooking Torbay. It is certainly worth exploring the newly refurbished Illuminated Royal Terrace Gardens with wonderful views from the top.

DAY 1
After being collected from your local pick up point around 8.30/9.45am we have comfort stops as required before arriving at the hotel for our “Christmas Eve”. A warm welcome with Tea, Coffee & Mince Pies, Dinner served at 6pm, followed by entertainment.
DAY 2
“Christmas Day” Enjoy a full breakfast before we depart for a mystery excursion out to a local destination, organised by your driver. Returning to the hotel mid-afternoon with time to relax before the evening. Be prepared for the traditional Christmas dinner and a visit from Santa followed by more fun!
DAY 3
"New Years Eve" We will head out for another excursion this morning with plenty of time after to relax and explore around Torquay - so much to see around the town and a lovely front to stroll along. Dinner will be served at 6.30pm followed by live entertainment with a light finger buffett and glass of fizz to bring in the New Year! Great way to finish your break away!
DAY 4
We head home with a stop for lunch on the way before arriving back to your local drop off point around 2.00pm.

With an excellent reputation for a friendly welcome and a relaxed atmosphere. This family run hotel has recently been awarded with TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice 2022 recognition. This highly valued award places the hotel in the top 10% of positive reviews in the world for hotels. These are reviews from customers relating to enjoyment & value for money.
Situated in a tree lined road with a mix of hotels, guest houses and residential properties the hotel is only a 15 minute walk to the seafront and town centre. It is one of the most popular areas of Torquay with visitors. Directly outside the hotel there is a bus stop if you want to explore the area independently.
The Nethway is a 25 bedroom hotel offering clean, comfortable accommodation and public areas including a lounge & bar. Set in its own gardens, the hotel enjoys lovely views over Torquay town to Torbay. In the warmer months you can enjoy a drink outside and there is even an outdoor pool (for when its warmer!)
All bedrooms are comfortable with en-suite bathroom - mix of Shower only/ Shower over bath and bath only. Please check when booking. Other facilities - TV, tea/coffee making, hairdryer and WiFi. There is no lift at the hotel - only 3 storey, some ground floor rooms available. Porterage included.
The food at the hotel is a good standard - home cooked & fresh. Start the day with a full English breakfast served at the table - buffet table for Cereals and tea & coffee. Dinner is 3 courses with a choice of 3 options per course.
