Blessed with a balmy climate and famous for it's palm trees, it's easy to see why Torquay has attracted visitors since Victorian times. There is stunning scenery along the coast road and historic towns are dotted throughout the region. The traditional harbour and stylish Princess Pier marina area offer the town a continental atmosphere, with a growing selection of eateries to sample. Stroll along the attractive waterfront esplanade to the new Abbey Sands leisure development and enjoy a drink overlooking Torbay. DAY 1
Departing your local pick-up point in the morning (approx. 8.30/9.30am), we travel to Torquay stopping for lunch in Bridport/West Bay or Otter Nurseries before arriving at the hotel mid afternoon with time to relax in the hotel before dinner followed by entertainment.

DAY 2
After a hearty breakfast we will be joined by our excellent local guide who will explore the history and landscape of the dramatic Dartmoor National Park. Always a very popular day out for our customers with plenty of stories and a stop for lunch during the day. Returning late afternoon for free time in the hotel.

DAY 3
In the morning we have a short excursion along the coast to the fishing port of Brixham. It’s still one of the busiest fishing ports in the UK, and a nice place to stroll around for a couple of hours. Returning to Torquay for free time in the town centre or relax and enjoy the atmosphere and grounds of the hotel or maybe take a stroll along the clifftop.

DAY 4
We head home with a lunch stop on the way. Arriving back in the local area around 3.30/4.30pm.

Meal plan - Dinner Bed & Breakfast

One of the highest rated 3* Hotels in Torbay by the AA. Boasting splendid sea views from many of the bedrooms, the hotel stands in two acres of grounds overlooking Meadfoot Bay.
