Situated on the beautiful Ligurian Riviera which adjoins the French Cote D’Azur on the Mediterranean, the Italian Riviera of Flowers combines the very best of a classical sightseeing tour with the pleasures of a really relaxing beach holiday. This magnificent picturesque coastline blends the colourful promenade atmosphere of the Mediterranean with delightful beaches and colourful yachting marinas.

Diano Marina is a beautiful resort set in a sweeping bay with safe sandy beaches and offers an elegant atmosphere. You can enjoy a stroll along the palm fringed promenades and spend hours exploring the shops, restaurants and pavement cafes leading to the historic old town with its labyrinth of cobbled streets and weekly market. A super destination for a memorable holiday.

DAY 1
After being collected from your local pick up point around 5.30/7.00am we travel to our hotel in the Dijon region of Burgundy in France via the Eurotunnel. We have a number of comfort stops during the day, so sit back relax and enjoy the changing scenery in the comfort of your seat. Our hotel is the tried and tested Kyriad Mirande - excellent modern hotel, well received by our customers and includes evening meal. 

DAY 2
We depart after breakfast and continue south. Again, plenty of stops with a main break for lunch before heading in to the beautiful Provence scenery and on for our first look at the Mediterranean. Crossing the border in to Italy and arriving at Diano Marina mid evening with a warm welcome from the hotel staff. Settle in to your room before dinner - the quality of the food served in this hotel is excellent!  

DAYS 3 to 6
During your stay in Diano Marina we shall have 2 excursions which are included in the price of the holiday. 

Our superb local guide will join us for an excursion to discover the Principality of Monaco with a day visiting Monte Carlo and a chance to see how the rich and famous live. 

**NEW FOR 2023**
Memorable excursion as we head to the picture postcard destination of Portofino! One of the iconic destinations for the whole of Italy; this stunning natural harbour has a history dating back to the Romans and now the piazza and shoreline is lined by tiny pastel houses, yellow, green and blue. A magnet for the rich and famous, it was here, in the famous Hotel Splendido that Richard Burton proposed to Elizabeth Taylor! Only accessible by boat, we have included the 25 minute crossing from Rapallo. PLEASE NOTE - If the boats are not operating due to poor sea conditions we will spend time in the lovely town of Rapallo instead.

The remainder of your time is free to relax, enjoy the sunshine, the friendly hotel and the resort of Diano Marina.

DAY 7
Sadly we leave the Mediterranean behind and begin the journey home with plenty of comfort stops as required before arriving at our overnight hotel - again the Kyriad Mirande at Dijon. Evening meal included.

DAY 8
We head back for the mid afternoon Eurotunnel. Continuing to be dropped off at your local drop off point around 8.00pm.

The Hotel Bellevue et Mediterranee in Diano Marina occupies a magnificent position with its own private beach and there is also a swimming pool and large terrace with plenty of sunbeds and seating.

We have been staying at this hotel for many, many years - proven to be one of our customers favourites. Offering outstanding levels of friendly, welcoming service and care. The food is a highlight - you will be served a large choice of good quality food in the restaurant whilst enjoying panoramic views of the sea with the hotel being well located for a stroll along the promenade or into the shopping area.
