Superb holiday staying in the very heart of Cornish life in Looe and with excursions discovering the beautiful countryside, towns and people of the region. The historic fishing Port of Looe on Cornwall’s south coast is amazing - you can ‘feel’ the history of the town centred around the bustling harbour where you can watch the catch being ‘brought-in’ by the fishing boats.

It’s a great place to explore - stroll through the labyrinth of narrow streets lined with cafes, antique shops and pick up a tasty pasty in one of the bakers to enjoy on the sandy beach. A wonderful destination with a great hotel for a lovely holiday.

DAY 1
After being collected from your local pick up point around 8.15/9.30am we have a brief comfort stop and a main stop for lunch before arriving at the hotel around 3.30pm. Settle in to the hotel and enjoy the views with a delicious and very welcome Cream Tea included in the price. During our stay there will be some evening entertainment.

DAY 2
Lovely day out today. We visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan. This remarkable garden has a wide range of areas from the more formal walled Victorian Gardens down the valley to the exotic outdoor Jungle with raised boardwalks past giant rhubarb, banana plantations and through tunnels of towering bamboo. Price includes entrance. After we continue to nearby, picture postcard Mevagissey. Narrow streets lead down to the towns distinctive twin harbour - a safe haven for the many fishing boats. Stroll through the traditional streets and pick up a postcard of gift in one of the shops or galleries. Plenty of places to enjoy some refreshment.

DAY 3
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast overlooking the town before we depart for the nearby fishing village of Polperro with plenty of time to explore, and find somewhere nice for lunch. Returning to Looe for an afternoon relaxing around the hotel, exploring the town or venture further afield along the South West Coast Path. Lovely, lovely!

DAY 4
We head for the historic port of Plymouth. We shall meet our local guide for a short coach tour of the city - a real insight in to the city which has played such an important part in British history. Plenty of free time after - a great place to explore with excellent shopping, a lovely historic dockyard area and the famous Hoe clifftop with the iconic Smeaton’s Tower lighthouse.

DAY 5
We leave the hotel after breakfast and have a stop for lunch before arriving back to your local drop off point around 3.30/4.30pm.
