AMENDED ITINERARY AS SANDRINGHAM HOUSE IS NOW CLOSED DUE TO THE SAD DEATH OF HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELISABETH II

This delightful break combines the beauty of this wonderful area of the country with the history of Norwich. On the east coast of England, Norfolk has 90 miles of unspoilt coastline, beautiful countryside, the unique Broads National Park, forests and heathland and picturesque market towns. You can’t come to this area without a trip on The Broads! We have also added a visit to the magnificent Holkham Hall near the North Norfolk coast.

The county town of Norwich has a fantastic heritage with long trade links, historical sights and architecture and excellent shopping. A great destination for a holiday and very popular with our customers.

DAY 1
After being collected from your local pick up point around  7.00/8.00am, we have a comfort and lunch stop before we arrive at our hotel late afternoon. Time to settle in to your room and enjoy the atmosphere of the hotel before dinner.

DAY 2
Lovely start to the holiday - enjoy breakfast with an extensive range of hot & cold choices on offer. Then board the coach as we head in to the historic centre of Norwich for some free time to explore the streets and find somewhere nice for lunch. Early afternoon we travel out into the countryside arriving in the town of Wroxham. Regarded as the capital of the Norfolk Broads, from here we board the impressive Belle of The Broads pleasure boat and head out for a 2 hour cruise in to the unique Broads landscape and hopefully spotting some wildlife along the way. Some free time in Wroxham before we return to the hotel.

DAY 3
Wonderful destination today as we travel to the magnificent Holkham Hall on the North Norfolk coast. Steeped in history, Holkham is surrounded by rolling parkland, rich in wildlife including a deer herd. Inside this magnificent 18th-century Palladian hall is a superb collection of furniture, tapestries and paintings by Rubens, Van Dyck and Gainsborough. We include entrance to the Hall, the Field to Fork farming experience and the walled garden. Entrance fee included. Plenty of time here with much to see.

DAY 4
As today is the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II, we shall be staying at the hotel. There will be televisions in the public areas of the hotel for you to watch proceedings - subject to demand. We have arranged for free tea/coffee to be available for you and at lunch, we have included a finger buffet. Relax around the hotel and grounds or enjoy a swim in the excellent leisure centre.

DAY 5
We leave Norwich in the morning and have comfort stops as required before being returned to your local pick up point around 5.00/6.00pm.
