Scarborough on the beautiful East Coast of Yorkshire was Britain’s first seaside resort - welcoming visitors for over 350 years. The town has retained much of its charm with elegant architecture, superb parks, interesting shops and a host of restaurants and cafes - it’s a lovely town to explore on foot with a long promenade and coastal walks for the more adventurous. The town is split in to two bays by a headland complete with Castle on top.  Excursion destinations are plentiful in the region with beautiful countryside and dramatic coastline dotted with historic fishing villages along the coast.

DAY 1
After being collected from your local pick up point around 6.30/7.45am we travel to our hotel in Scarborough with comfort breaks on route. Arriving late afternoon.

DAY 2
Fantastic day out to Burton Constable Hall & Grounds. This fascinating Elizabethan gem nestles in over 300 acres of natural parkland and offers visitors unrivalled access to 30 rooms that are filled with fine furniture, paintings and sculpture. Discover the extraordinary 18th century 'Cabinet of Curiosities' and uncover the fascinating characters from the Constable family whose home it has been for the past 700 years. Explore the historic parkland designed by 'Capability' Brown with walks and nature trails. Not forgetting 'The Burton Constable Whale' - a 60 foot long skeleton of a Sperm Whale stranded on the coast nearby in 1825. Excellent catering facilities. Entrance and a welcoming tea or filter coffee with biscuits included. 

DAY 3
A day at leisure today for you to relax around the town, take lunch in one of the many restaurants, enjoy the hospitality of the hotel or why not take the funicular down to the beach?

DAY 4
Today we are joined by a local guide for a full day tour of the Yorkshire Moors and the lovely coastline. The scenery in the area is spectacular and dotted with lovely towns and villages - it’s Heartbeat country! Includes time in the lovely fishing port of Whitby.

DAY 5
We leave the hotel in the morning and head home with comfort stops on route. Arriving back in the local area around 5.00pm.
