Superb value 4 day break to the lovely town of Bideford set  n the beautifully dramatic scenery of North Devon as Springtime starts to break through in Devon.

Nestled alongside the River Torridge, the ancient market town and port of Bideford is a delightful setting for a break away. Once Britain’s third largest port, Bideford is a thriving shopping centre with an historic Pannier Market and many antique shops and cafes amongst the narrow backstreets and alleyways that lead up from the quay. The tree-lined quay offers a lovely scene at any time of year or you can head over the historic stone bridge to join the beautiful Tarka Trail and enjoy the views over the river and surrounding countryside. This beautiful area is dotted with many historic towns and villages. We are delighted to be returning to the Durrant House Hotel
for this fun break offered at such an amazing price.

DAY 1
Departing your local pick-up point around 8.30/9.30am, we travel to Bideford with comfort stops as required including a lunch stop. We arrive at the hotel mid afternoon with time to settle in to your room before dinner.

DAY 2
Enjoy a full English breakfast before we board the coach and enjoy some time in the centre of Bideford to explore the shops and river front. We continue to historic Barnstaple with a chance to explore the famous Pannier Market before returning to the hotel.

DAY 3
Lovely excursion today as we head to nearby RHS Rosemoor Gardens. These superb gardens are set out over 65 acres with a variety of different temperate zones to discover. Enjoy a bite to eat in one of the excellent cafes - always proved to be a popular destination. Entrance fee included. RHS Member discount - £7.

DAY 4
After breakfast we leave Bideford and head home. We have an extended lunch stop at the excellent Clark’s Village shopping centre before arriving back in the local area around 3.00pm.
