The ultimate UK destination for Christmas Shopping! Oxford Street is still THE retail mecca with some of the largest stores from all the big names - if you can't get it here, they probably don't sell it! Coming up to Christmas, Oxford Street has become famous for its celebrated street decorations. It's a great area to explore - walk along to the nearby Regent Street, home of the famous Hamleys Toy Store or head in the other direction to Hyde Park. The spectacular Winter Wonderland is scheduled to be operating - please check their website for details. If you want to travel further, the underground system is quick and easy. Too many choices for lunch to pick from!!
