Come and enjoy the awesome colours of Autumn! Situated in West Sussex this 465 acres country estate has become famous as the site of the Millennium Seed Bank, the RHS program to preserve species from all over the world. Situated in the grounds is the Elizabethan Mansion was owned by Sir William Boord, and it was Lord Wakehurst, who started to develop the gardens. He was passionate about plants and helped sponsor many collecting expeditions, particularly to eastern Asia, still the world's richest source of temperate flora. So much to see including the Loder Valley Nature Reserve, Coronation Meadow, the amazing wetlands section, Pinetum and so much more!! Grab a snack or drink at one of the cafes or bring your own. Brilliant day out.
