These pre Christmas breaks are a great, fun way to enjoy the run up to Christmas with cuisine and entertainment in hotels decorated for the festive period.

One of the most popular destinations with our customers, Eastbourne is a refined Victorian seaside resort offering a fine array of facilities for tourists. There is a lovely level promenade, attractive gardens, a splendid Victorian pier, theatres, an art gallery and excellent shopping and coffee shops where you can watch the world go by - perfect for a relaxing break away from it all. The town is surrounded by the stunning South Downs with a wealth of excursion possibilities in the region. We are delighted to be returning to the excellent 3* York House Hotel.

DAY 1
After being collected from your local pick up point around 8.00/9.00am we have a stop on route for lunch before arriving at the hotel mid-afternoon with time to settle in to your room before coming down to the lounge for afternoon tea & biscuits. You may like to head out for a stroll before your delicious 3 course dinner which is followed by a fun festive quiz and bingo evening!

DAY 2
Enjoy a full English breakfast before we board the coach and head inland. Enjoy the countryside as we travel through the towns and villages of the High Weald AONB before arriving in historic Royal Tunbridge Wells known for its Georgian and Victorian architecture. Free time to explore - don't miss the village area on the south side of town including The Pantiles - lined with lovely old shops and pubs. Returning to the hotel mid afternoon for afternoon tea and Christmas Cake with time to relax or head for the shops traditional Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings!! Complete the festive feel with music & dancing tonight.

DAY 3
Day at leisure today. Time for you to relax around the hotel and explore the town. The hotel is located on the level seafront promenade, close to the Redoubt Fortress & Pavilion with walks through the seafront parks to enjoy. The walk along the seafront to the Pier and the town centre shops takes 10 to 15 minutes. In the afternoon enjoy tea or coffee and a mince pie and look forward to dinner and a fun evening of live music.

DAY 4
Superb excursion today as we head for the delightful medieval town of Rye. This wonderful medieval citadel has a labyrinth of cobbled streets lines by half timbered houses, a myriad of galleries, curiosity shops and cosy pubs. Choose somewhere nice for lunch, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the distant views across Romney Marsh. Lovely place to spend some time. Returning to the hotel for afternoon tea and biscuits before a final New Years Eve special final dinner with a music and dancing party to follow!! 

DAY 5
Sadly, we leave Eastbourne and head home, stopping for a break in the historic town of Chichester before returning to the local area around 2.00/3.00pm – returned to your local pick up point.

Really popular hotel with our customers! Situated directly on Eastbourne’s seafront the 3* York House Hotel is an elegant  Victorian building in a lovely position only a 10 minutes walk from Eastbourne town centre and the pier. The hotel has 85 well appointed standard and superior guest rooms, many offering panoramic sea views all with free WiFi. The stylish Verandah Restaurant serves a delicious 3 course dinner with choice of menu plus coffee, whilst in the morning there is an extensive hot and cold breakfast. 

Facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool and a sun verandah. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and have TV, tea & coffee making facilities and telephone. Lift to all floors.
