Henley with Afternoon Tea Cruise - Wed 30th June 2021
- Duration: 1 Days
- Product code: PNJG3Q
Adjacent to the River Thames, Henley is best known for its annual Royal Regatta, attracting some of the world's finest rowers. Why not tread in the footsteps of Redgrave & Pinsent and stop off at the town's award-winning River and Rowing Museum. But there is more to the town, with its historic church, Town Hall, market square and excellent shops and restaurants. After time in the town we head to Maidenhead to complete the day with a wonderful 2 hour cruise in our covered river boat. Whilst on board we pass Cliveden House and the glorious riverside houses of the many celebrities at Bray. To cap it all, we have included a delicious afternoon tea. Selection of finger sandwiches - Cream cheese & cucumber, Ham and mustard, egg & cress and smoked salmon, Fruit scone, Jam and clotted cream, Fruit tartlet, mini afternoon tea cake, Shortbread biscuit and Cup of tea or coffee. Maybe have a light lunch then! Naughty, but nice!
