This delightful break combines the beauty of this wonderful area of the country with the history of Norwich and a fascinating visit to Sandringham House. On the east coast of England, Norfolk has 90 miles of unspoilt coastline, beautiful countryside, the unique Broads National Park, forests and heathland and picturesque market towns. You can’t come to this area without a trip on The Broads!

For 2021 we have added a visit to the magnificent Holkham Hall near the North Norfolk coast and a visit to Cromer.

The county town of Norwich has a fantastic heritage with long trade links, historical sights and architecture and excellent shopping. A great destination for a holiday and very popular with our customers.

After being collected from your local pick up point around 7.00/8.00am, we have a comfort and lunch stop before we arrive at our hotel late afternoon.

Fun day out today. We head to Aylsham for a nostalgic 9 mile steam hauled train trip through the picturesque Norfolk countryside. After arriving in Wroxham we board our pleasure boat for a 1½ hour cruise on the unique Norfolk Broads and hopefully spotting some wildlife. Free time in Wroxham after – a lovely riverside aspect and some good shops. Returning for free time in Norwich. Train/boat included.

Fascinating day today as we travel through the countryside to Sandringham House. The country retreat of HM The Queen is a pleasure to explore. Surrounded by extensive parkland, the famous church and beautiful gardens the main ground floor rooms, used by The Royal Family are full of their treasured ornaments, portraits and furniture. The Museum located in the stables
has a collection of vehicles used by the Royal family and a photographic exhibition which shows the history of Sandringham House. There is transport to the house provided for the less able, but this is a large scale estate which may prove challenging for the less able. Lovely restaurant for lunch, gift shop and plant centre. Entrance included.

Wonderful destination today as we travel to the magnificent Holkham Hall on the North Norfolk coast. Steeped in history, Holkham is surrounded by rolling parkland, rich in wildlife including a deer herd. Inside this magnificent 18th-century Palladian hall is a superb collection of furniture, tapestries and paintings by Rubens, Van Dyck and Gainsborough. We include entrance to the Hall, the Field to Fork farming experience and the walled garden. Entrance fee included. Afterwards we head to the seaside resort of Cromer for free time.

DAY 5

We leave Norwich in the morning and have comfort stops as required before being returned to your local pick up point around 5.00/6.00pm.
