Choose from the 3* Palace Hotel or the 3* Queens Hotel. Both in the same hotel group as the excellent 3* Headlands Hotel in Torquay. We have been using these hotels for years - why? - because they are professionally run and offer a consistently high quality product for our customers. Cheaper alternatives are available but you will not get this quality! As we expected, they have adjusted to the requirements of the current regulations with sensible, common sense measures so customers can still enjoy a lovely break away to this beautiful area. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. 

Famous for its long sandy beaches, level promenade and colourful pier, Paignton lies on England’s beautiful English Riviera on Devon’s southern coast. The long and flat seafront esplanade offers lovely views across Torbay with leisure facilities for the visitor. The town has some lovely public gardens and good shopping with an abundance of cafes and restaurants. Paignton lies on the fantastic South West Coast Path with a chance to enjoy a coastal stroll. Plenty of lovely excursion destinations in the area.

DAY 1
After being collected from your local pick up point (approx 8.00/9.00am) we have refreshment stops as required before arriving at the hotel mid-afternoon. Time to settle in and perhaps take a stroll before dinner.

DAY 2
We visit the lovely town of Totnes. Nestling alongside the River Dart, this charming market town dates back to Saxon times and has a wide variety of shops giving the town a lovely atmosphere. Returning to the hotel for free time to explore the town - take a stroll along the seafront or head to the shops.

DAY 3
Superb day out today as we are joined by our excellent local guide who will be showing us the best parts of Dartmoor National Park. A beautiful and striking landscape dotted with towns and villages – all with a tale to tell.

DAY 4
Mid morning we head off to Dartmouth. One of our favourite destinations in the country - home to the famous historic Brittania Royal Navy College with always something happening on the busy estuary. A great place to explore with parks and a network of narrow streets with interesting shops and some proper old pubs! 

DAY 5
We head home in the morning and have a stop for lunch on route before arriving back in the local area around 3.00/4.00pm.

3* Queens Hotel

We are delighted to be returning to The Queens Hotel, sister hotel of the excellent Palace Hotel and The Headland Hotel in Torquay.  Situated on the level, only 200m between the seafront and town centre, The Queens offers excellent accommodation and comes highly recommended. Leisure facilities at the hotel include an indoor swimming pool, games room, lounges and a bar. The food in the restaurant has an excellent reputation serving a Full English breakfast and a 5 course evening meal. The comfortable ensuite bathrooms with Colour TV, telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a passenger lift for your convenience. WiFi. 

3* Palace Hotel
One of the best rated hotels with our customers and one of the highest on TripAdvisor in Paignton. Originally the home of Issac Merrit Singer, the inventor of the Singer sewing machine, the elegant Palace Hotel occupies a prime seafront location near the pier on the level esplanade and a short walk to the shopping area. There is a stylish restaurant with a wonderful outlook across the bay where you will be served a delicious 6 course evening meal with choice of menu. Other facilities include a leisure centre with large indoor swimming pool. All 54 bedrooms are comfortably furnished with en-suite bathrooms and have colour TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making.
