Tenby, Pembrokeshire & The Gower - Mon 25th Oct 2021

The delightful little town of Tenby is one of Pembrokeshire’s best loved seaside resorts with miles of sandy beaches and a delightful picturesque harbour. Beautifully located on the South West Wales coast, the old town walls, narrow streets and medieval houses add a lovely charm to the town. There are an array of shops, cafes and bars for you to discover during your stay. Enjoy wonderful ocean views from the cliff tops over the three great beaches.

We include great excursions to make the most of the history and dramatic scenery of the region including a day exploring the wonderful Gower Peninsula with a local guide and a trip to charming St Davids. Pembrokeshire offers some of the finest coastal views anywhere in the United Kingdom.

DAY 1

Collected from your local pick up point around 8.00am with comfort stops before we arrive at the hotel late pm.

DAYS 2 to 4
During our stay in Tenby we have included some great excursions –

·         We shall be joined by our local guide for an excursion to the beautiful Gower Peninsula plus a visit to Swansea. Jutting out into the Bristol Channel, the Gower is an AONB – absolutely stunning. There are valleys, standing stones and castles to discover, with well-known destinations such as The Mumbles and the iconic Three Cliffs Bay. We also include some time in the city of Swansea.

·        A day exploring local history with some wonderful scenery. We visit Picton Castle & Gardens – a 700 year old medieval castle transformed into a family stately home. We have included a tour of the impressive interior with elegant furniture and artworks plus plenty of time to explore the beautiful gardens and parkland which surround the house. Entrance included. Today, we also visit the ‘city’ of St Davids – a wonderful location with a beautiful Cathedral to enjoy.

Plus, a day at leisure in Tenby. Plenty to explore, maybe go for a coastal walk, enjoy lunch down by the harbour or visit the Tenby Museum & Art Gallery or the The Tudor Merchant’s House.

DAY 5
We depart the hotel in the morning and have comfort stops as required and a stop for lunch before arriving back in the local area around 4.30pm.

Enjoy a warm welcome at this family owned, beautifully presented hotel. Decorated throughout in a classically elegant style The Park offers wonderful views across Tenby Bay. Set in lovely clifftop terraced gardens, the hotel is around a 15 minute walk into town. In the Summer months there is an outdoor swimming pool in the grounds. The stylish individual bedrooms each have a private bathroom, flat-screen TV and tea/coffee facilities. Many rooms also have panoramic coastal or countryside views. Enjoy lovely dining with a superb choice of menu and a full Welsh breakfast in the hotel  restaurant,  there traditional home-made food is served.
