We stay within the medieval city walls allowing you time to explore the historic centre and its many attractions and cobbled streets lined with interesting and original shops. Don’t miss The Shambles, perhaps the most picturesque streets in England complete with overhanging timber-framed houses and traditional shopfronts. York  Minster, one of the largest cathedrals in Northern Europe is also on the must do list. In fact, add the excellent Jorvik Viking Centre and National Railway Museum and its easy to see why many of our customers choose to spend all their time in the city!
