We have included entrance to a selection of some the best destinations in the county- the stunning Burghley House, the newly opened International Bomber Command Centre and RAF Scampton - home to 617 ‘Dambusters’ squadron and now the Red Arrows. And we haven’t forgotten to allow free time to explore Lincoln – easy from our city centre hotel on the waterfront.

A fantastic experience. We hope you can join us!

DAY 1
Collected from your local pick up point around 8.00am, we have comfort stops on route before arriving at the hotel late afternoon. Time for a stroll around the waterfront before or after dinner.

DAY 2
A great day out exploring the aviation heritage of the county. After breakfast we head to the new International Bomber Command Centre which overlooks Lincoln City and includes a 31 metre tall memorial spire and walls that feature the names of all those who lost their lives. The centre has been warmly welcomed by the public. Entrance to the exhibition included. After lunch we head on to RAF Scampton. Still an active base, and current home to the Red Arrows, this was the home base for 617 ‘Dambusters’ squadron. We shall be escorted on a guided tour of the excellent museum on the base. Photo driving license/passport required for entrance to the base!

DAY 3
Memorable day today as we head south to visit Burghley House. One of the finest country estates in the entire country, Burghley is one of the largest and grandest houses of the Elizabethan age. Inside there are eighteen magnificent State Rooms, a huge collection of art including fine 17th century Italian paintings and an amazing collection of Japanese ceramics. The house is surrounded by Capability Brown parkland, wonderful gardens and a deer park. Entrance included.

DAY 4
A day at leisure today. The position of the hotel allows easy access to the city centre - the magnificent Cathedral is only a 15 minute walk away. Check out Steep Hill which leads up to the cathedral - an historic cobbled street lined with lovely shops.

DAY 5
We leave the hotel and have comfort stops as required and a stop for lunch before arriving back in the local area around 4.30/5.30pm and returning to your local drop off point.
