Enjoy time in the county’s Capital, Worcester which has a beautiful centre of half timbered ‘black & white’ buildings some dating back over 500 years. Our hotel is first class with a lovely rural location. One of our regular holidays with an excellent itinerary – interesting and fun break with a touch of Olde England.

DAY 1
After being collected from your local pick up point around 7.30/8.30am we have comfort stops on route before arriving at the hotel mid/late afternoon.

DAY 2
A day in Worcester. First we visit the Elgar Birthplace Museum devoted to the famous composer who was inspired by the county. Afterwards enjoy free time in the historic city of Worcester, with its magnificent cathedral before seeing the city from a different perspective on an included 45 minute cruise along the River Severn.

DAY 3
Memorable day out today as we board the Severn Valley Railway for a nostalgic steam train journey through beautiful scenery and over Victoria Bridge, which featured in the famous film ‘The Thirty-Nine Steps’. We visit Bridgnorth, which is actually two towns, High Town and Low Town, connected by the steepest inland funicular railway in Britain, before returning to Stourport-on-Severn.
